Woman Found Dead in Haifa; Partner Detained for Questioning
A woman, approximately 30 years old, was discovered on Azmaut Street in Haifa during the night of September 25th. She was transported to Rambam Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead. Police reported that the woman's partner, aged 28, was detained for questioning. No charges have been filed against him yet.
The man reportedly called the police himself around 12:45 AM. A police patrol and Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Paramedics found the victim on a stairwell suffering from severe upper body trauma. She was taken to the hospital, where her death was confirmed shortly thereafter.
The police statement indicated that the 28-year-old partner was apprehended at the scene. He denies any involvement in the incident. The woman's body has been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for examination. Police stated they are investigating all possible scenarios, including murder, accident, or suicide.
