65-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Ashdod Home, Partner Arrested on Murder Suspicion
A 65-year-old woman was found dead this morning in a home in Ashdod with stab wounds on her body. Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of her death and said her partner was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was also reported to have a hand injury.
The report reached Magen David Adom’s 101 emergency center in the Lachish region at 8:00 a.m. Medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced the woman dead there.
MDA motorcycle paramedic Orel Asulin said, “We arrived at the scene and were led to the apartment. We saw a woman lying unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing. We performed medical checks and, sadly, had to declare her dead at the scene.”
Police from Ashdod station and forensic investigators were called to the home and began collecting evidence and carrying out investigative steps at the scene.
