IDF Destroys Two-Kilometer Terror Tunnel in Gaza
Israeli forces, including the Givati Brigade combat team and the Yahalom engineering unit, have destroyed a significant terror tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip. The tunnel, measuring approximately two kilometers in length, was located near the "yellow line," a reference to the border fence.
The operation was conducted under the command of the Gaza Division's Engineering Unit (143) as part of ongoing efforts to clear the area of terror infrastructure. Footage of the tunnel's destruction was released by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
Southern Command forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to neutralize any immediate threats, according to an IDF statement.
