Netanyahu Presents Starlink Device at UN, Criticizes Iranian Regime
During his address at the United Nations, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showcased a Starlink device, asserting that the Iranian regime fears citizens having access to unfiltered information and free expression. "The Iranian regime is especially afraid that people will have a communication device that allows people access to truth, to choice, freedom of thought and freedom of expression," Netanyahu stated. He declared his intention to leave the device behind for the Iranian delegation, suggesting it would be useful for them "when they defect, they too can tell their story on social networks."
Netanyahu expressed his conviction that the Iranian people would soon be liberated and the current regime would fall, an event he anticipates celebrating. "One day, and it will not be long now, the Iranian people will be freed. This regime will fall and we will all celebrate that day," he said.
Notably, as Netanyahu delivered his speech, the Iranian delegation left an image of Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in 2020, in their empty seats.
