Israel's UN Envoy Gives Iranian Counterpart Starlink Device

Following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address at the UN General Assembly in New York, Israel's Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, made a symbolic gesture by approaching the Iranian representative. Danon presented the Iranian envoy with a Starlink satellite communication device, a technology that the Iranian regime reportedly blocks its citizens from accessing.

Earlier in his speech, Netanyahu had also displayed a Starlink device, stating that the Iranian regime fears such communication tools that provide access to truth, choice, freedom of thought, and expression. He suggested the device could be given to the Iranian delegation so they could share their stories on social media when they defect.

Netanyahu's visit to New York was brief, lasting only a few hours due to security concerns and the need to return before the Sukkot holiday.
