Hapoel Haifa announced on Sunday that it has signed midfielder Sally Fahima, who played last season for Hapoel Acre. He will join the Carmel club for the coming season, with an option for an additional year.
Fahima was one of Acre’s leading players last season. The attacking midfielder scored six goals and was among the team’s best performers.
His arrival is part of a recent recruitment push by Hapoel Haifa from Israel’s second division. Earlier, the club also signed midfielder Tal Naeem, who played last season for Maccabi Herzliya, on a one-year deal with an option for another season.
