Hapoel Haifa announced on Sunday that it has signed midfielder Sali Fahima, who played last season for Hapoel Acre. He will join the club for the coming season, with an option for an additional year.
Fahima was one of Acre’s leading players this season. The attacking midfielder scored six goals and was among the team’s best performers.
The signing is part of a broader recruiting push by Hapoel Haifa from Israel’s second division. Earlier, the Carmel club also signed midfielder Tal Naeem, who played last season for Maccabi Herzliya, on a one-year deal with an option for another season.
