Hapoel Haifa Signs Winger Wahib Habiballah
Hapoel Haifa has officially signed winger Wahib Habiballah, who played for Ironi Tiberias in recent seasons. The 28-year-old joins the club of coach Haim Silvas as it continues preparing for next season.
Habiballah scored five goals this season for Tiberias, where he spent the last three years. Tiberias wanted him to stay for another season, but Hapoel Haifa offered him better financial terms.
The Carmel Reds had been looking to strengthen their attacking line, and Habiballah was one of several candidates. He previously played for Nof HaGalil, Hapoel Acre, Hapoel Petah Tikva and Iksal.
Hapoel Haifa has also signed Noam Cohen and Yoav Gerafi, while keeping a significant portion of its foreign players by exercising contract options ahead of the 2026/27 season.
