Official: Wahib Habiballah joins Hapoel Haifa
Hapoel Haifa has officially signed winger Wahib Habiballah, after Israeli sports outlet Channel 5 had reported advanced talks. The 28-year-old, who played for Ironi Tiberias last season, has moved to the Carmel side as coach Haim Silvas continues preparations for next season.
Habiballah scored five goals this season for Tiberias, where he spent the past three campaigns. Tiberias wanted to keep him for another year, but Hapoel Haifa offered better financial terms, which tipped the balance in its favor.
Hapoel Haifa had been looking at several options to strengthen its attacking line, and Habiballah was one of the candidates. He has previously played for Nof HaGalil, Hapoel Akko, Hapoel Petah Tikva and Iksal.
The club has already signed Noam Cohen and Yoav Gerafi, while also exercising options to keep a significant part of its foreign players for the 2026/27 season.
