Israel’s Home Front Command said it is updating its civil defense policy and removing some restrictions on residents in the confrontation-line area and the Galilee, following the latest security assessment.
Starting Monday, June 22, 2026, at 6:00 a.m., all formal restrictions will be lifted in the confrontation-line guidance zone. Several communities in the area will move to full activity, with no remaining defense restrictions.
The communities named in the update are Sasa, Meron, Or HaGanuz, Bar Yohai, Yesud HaMa’ala, Kfar Yasif, Beit Jann, and Sde Eliezer.
The Home Front Command stressed that the easing does not mean the situation is over. The army said it is continuing constant, ongoing assessments because of the security sensitivity, and that any further changes in the protective policy will be communicated immediately. Residents were also told to keep following official instructions.
