Israeli Ambassador's Son Critically Injured in West Bank Terror Attack
Israel's Ambassador to the United States, Michael Herzog, is en route to Israel after his son, Neria, was critically injured in a Palestinian terror attack on Route 443. The ambassador shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Neria had continued his reserve military service after losing his older brother, Moshe Yedidya Leiter, who was killed in action. Neria had served hundreds of days in reserves on various fronts since October 7.
Herzog stated that Palestinian terrorism aims to uproot Israelis from their land, contrasting their choice of death with Israel's choice of life. He added that Neria is in critical condition and requires a miracle. The ambassador expressed gratitude to the IDF and the medical team at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, who are fighting for Neria's life, and appealed for the prayers of the Israeli people.
