Israeli Ambassador's Son Injured in Terror Attack Near Beit Horon

Neria Leiter, the son of Israel's Ambassador to the United States, Yehiel Leiter, was seriously injured in a car-ramming attack near Beit Horon on Highway 443, between the settlement of Beit Horon and the Maccabim checkpoint. The incident occurred when a terrorist drove his vehicle towards a police car, hitting a soldier. Security forces present at the scene responded by opening fire and neutralizing the attacker. Leiter was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem in serious condition. Additional police and army units have been dispatched to the scene, and an investigation into the attack has been launched.
