IDF Concludes Security Operation in Syria, Neutralizing Threats
The Israeli military announced the completion of a three-month security operation in front-line areas of Syria aimed at neutralizing threats to Israel. Forces from the 228th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the 210th Division, conducted targeted operations, interrogating dozens of suspects, arresting several operatives, destroying numerous terror infrastructures, and locating various weapons. These weapons included RPGs, mortar shells, and Kalashnikov rifles.
The 228th Brigade Combat Team concluded its fifth reserve duty rotation, with forces from the 2nd Brigade now taking over operations. The IDF emphasized that the 210th Division will maintain a vigilant and strong presence in the area to ensure the security of Israeli citizens, particularly residents of the Golan Heights.
