Israeli Forces Conclude Three-Month Security Operation in Syria

An Israeli military brigade combat team, under the command of Division 210, has completed a three-month security operation in Syria aimed at neutralizing threats to Israeli citizens and residents of the Golan Heights. During the mission, forces interrogated dozens of suspects and apprehended several operatives involved in terrorist activities.

The operation focused on identifying and dismantling terrorist infrastructure and weaponry. Israeli forces located and destroyed numerous weapons, including RPGs, mortar shells, and Kalashnikov rifles, intended to pose a threat to Israel. The troops involved in this operation were completing their fifth reserve duty rotation.

Brigade 228's mission has now concluded, and they are being replaced by forces from Brigade 2, which will continue operations in the sector under Division 210. The Israeli military released images of the seized weaponry as part of the operation's conclusion.
