Worker Dies After Falling Load of Metal Cages at Kiryat Gat Factory
A 40-year-old worker died on Thursday after being struck by a falling load of metal cages at a factory in Kiryat Gat. Emergency services were called to the scene on Rehavot Eir Street, where they provided initial treatment to the injured man.
According to Yanke Feinberg, a paramedic and deputy head of the United Hatzalah branch, the worker was hit by the heavy load. "We were informed at the scene that the worker was injured after a load of iron cages fell on him," Feinberg stated. "With the help of a doctor from United Hatzalah, we performed resuscitation operations, and at their end, unfortunately, his death was announced due to the serious injuries he sustained."
