Foreign Worker Dies After Heavy Iron Plate Falls at Factory Near Kiryat Malakhi
A foreign worker in his 40s died on Sunday after being struck by a heavy iron plate at a factory near the Kiryat Malakhi junction. Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene following reports of the accident. Upon arrival, paramedics found the man severely injured and immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts.
Despite prolonged attempts to save him, the medical team was forced to declare his death at the site due to the severity of his injuries. United Hatzalah responders Miki Tzvika, Alendiv Tam, and Gilad Orbach provided initial medical treatment and confirmed the cause of the accident was the heavy iron plate falling on the worker during his shift. The incident remains under investigation.
