Worker Killed in Fatal Industrial Accident in Samaria
A fatal work accident was reported this morning (Thursday) in the Sha'ar Shomron Regional Council area, when a worker was struck by a heavy object during his work. According to Magen David Adom, the initial report of the work accident was received at the dispatch center at 8:58 a.m. Paramedics and medics who were sent to the scene found the worker, described as a 30-year-old man, trapped and unconscious. After rescue efforts, the teams carried out medical examinations, but ultimately had to pronounce him dead.
MDA paramedic Tomer Gusman said, "They brought us to the worker, he was trapped, unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing. While the firefighters were carrying out the rescue efforts, we performed medical examinations, his injury was severe and, unfortunately, we had to pronounce him dead at the scene."
