iPhone-Shaped Pistol Found in Northern Israel Residential Complex
Israeli police in the Western Galilee region discovered a firearm disguised as an iPhone during a raid on a residential complex in Jadeidi-Makr. The operation, conducted by Western Galilee investigators and border police, aimed to combat illegal weapons possession.
During the search, officers identified an object designed to resemble an iPhone. Upon closer inspection, they determined it was a functional firearm. Authorities also seized a stun grenade, a magazine, and a large quantity of ammunition. A bomb disposal expert was called to safely neutralize the grenade.
Additionally, police dismantled four surveillance cameras positioned to monitor the street, which they believe were used for criminal surveillance. No arrests have been made in connection with the discovery at this time. The Israeli police stated their commitment to continuing operations against crime and illegal arms trafficking.
