Police Seize iPhone-Shaped Gun and Explosives in Northern Israel
Israeli police, in cooperation with the Border Police, raided a residential complex in the town of Jadeedat Makr, located in northern Israel, on September 23, 2026. During the search, officers discovered a handgun designed to resemble an iPhone, along with a stun grenade, a magazine, and a large quantity of ammunition.
An explosives expert was called to the scene to safely dismantle the stun grenade. The forces also removed four surveillance cameras that were illegally installed and directed towards the street.
The police stated that they will continue their operations to combat illegal weapons possession and confiscate combat equipment. They emphasized their ongoing commitment to pursuing those involved in criminal activities.
