Police Seize iPhone-Shaped Pistol in Northern Israel Raid
Israeli police on Wednesday discovered a handgun disguised as an iPhone during a raid in the northern village of Jadeidi-Makr. The operation targeted illegal weapons possession within the Arab community.
Officers from the Western Galilee station, part of the "Asher" region, along with Border Police, conducted a targeted search of a residential compound. Inside, they found the disguised pistol, a stun grenade that was neutralized by a police sapper, a magazine, and a large quantity of ammunition.
In addition to the weapons, authorities dismantled four security cameras illegally installed at the compound and aimed at the street for criminal surveillance purposes. The police stated the raid was part of an ongoing effort against the illegal arms trade among criminal elements.
