Arab-Israeli Activist Youssef Haddad Receives Death Threats Linked to Iran

Youssef Haddad, a prominent Arab-Israeli activist and candidate for the "Am Israel" party, has received explicit death threats via email. Security and political sources believe the messages, characterized by their style and content, are linked to elements operating on behalf of the Iranian regime.

The emails contained severe physical threats, including explicit statements like "We will cut off your fingers one by one and dismember your bodies along with the Americans. We are men of war." These threats follow a recent publication by Iran's Ministry of Intelligence listing "hostile elements" with whom Iranian citizens are forbidden to associate, with Haddad prominently featured on this list.

Haddad, who serves as the deputy chairman and second candidate on the "Am Israel" list, responded to the threats by stating, "The Iranian regime has never been more predictable. I also receive explicit death threats on social media. This did not frighten me in the past and does not frighten me today; on the contrary, it strengthens me. I will continue to act for the State of Israel and for Israeli society. And to those who threaten from Iran to Gaza, I say the proverb: 'Go pave the sea.'"
