Arab-Israeli Activist Haddad Celebrates Birthday, Eyes Government Role

Arab-Israeli activist Yoseph Haddad recently celebrated his 41st birthday, albeit slightly delayed due to his busy schedule. Haddad, who is positioned second on the "Am Israel" party list led by Ofer Vinter, shared a photo on his X account (formerly Twitter) with birthday cakes gifted by his family. He reflected on his decision to enter politics as a significant life event.

Haddad expressed two main wishes in his post. First, he hopes to bring a "new spirit" into the Knesset and decision-making circles to improve and strengthen Israel. Second, he personally aspires to become Israel's Minister of Public Diplomacy and Strategic Affairs.

This is not the first time Haddad has voiced his ambition for a senior government position. At the party's launch event, he stated his intention to work towards re-establishing the Ministry of Public Diplomacy and serving as its minister. He also expressed a desire to be the first Arab-Israeli member of the Israeli cabinet.
