In contrast, foreign airlines such as Flydubai and Etihad continue to operate flights to the UAE. Arab media reports indicate the detection of an atypical deployment of American refueling aircraft over Saudi Arabia and the UAE, though the purpose remains unclear, possibly signaling preparation for an attack or an attempt at deterrence.
