Israeli Airlines Barred From UAE Flights Amid Security Talks

Israeli airlines El Al, Israir, and Arkia are facing an extended suspension of flights to the United Arab Emirates, originally set to end next month. The continuation of this halt is attributed to ongoing difficulties between Israeli security officials and their Emirati counterparts in reaching an agreement. While Emirati carriers Flydubai and Etihad are operating numerous, often full, flights to Israel, Israeli airlines remain grounded on these popular routes.

This situation creates a scenario where high Israeli demand for travel to the UAE is unmet by local carriers, allowing Emirati airlines to dominate the market. The suspension of Israeli flights to the UAE began following Operation "Iron Swords" due to security concerns.
