A 37-year-old resident of Huwara, identified as an illegal entrant into Israel, is expected to be indicted in Tel Aviv over a series of alleged sexual offenses at a well-known nightlife venue in central Tel Aviv. The case, first reported by N12 on Sunday, involves allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman inside the club and then tried to target another woman outside it minutes later.
According to police, the suspect entered the crowded club without permits and, while no one nearby noticed, was filmed sexually assaulting a clubgoer who was there with friends. Security guards were called to the scene and removed him from the venue, but investigators say that was not the end of the incident.
Minutes after being ejected, he allegedly looked for another victim outside the club and committed another sexual offense against a passerby walking with a friend. The young woman fled and immediately called police, who arrested the suspect. Both complainants cooperated with investigators and gave statements about what happened.
R/Sgt. Yoni Iluz, head of the sex crimes unit at Tel Aviv’s Lev station, said, “This is a severe harm to women in the heart of Tel Aviv, his actions are simply cruel.” He added that police acted immediately after the complaints to complete the investigation and move quickly toward charges. In a separate case, Tel Aviv District Police also said an investigation has been completed against another illegal entrant suspected of harassing a woman in a beach restroom, and that evidence in that file has also matured into an indictment.
