Duvdevan Unit Arrests Two Terrorists Planning Imminent Attack

During the Yom Kippur holiday, Israeli special forces from the Duvdevan unit apprehended two terrorists in Qabatiya, in the Menashe Brigade area of the West Bank. The individuals were identified as members of the Islamic Jihad and were reportedly planning an immediate attack. The operation was part of broader counter-terrorism efforts conducted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) across Judea and Samaria during the Jewish day of atonement.

In parallel operations, forces mapped the home of a terrorist in the village of Biddu, within the Binyamin Brigade's sector. Another brigade-level operation in the village of Sarqa involved searching approximately 100 locations, interrogating 90 suspects, and discovering a hunting rifle. In a separate Duvdevan operation in the village of Beit Ur al-Tahta, forces located a lathe, two Carlo submachine guns, and additional weaponry.

Further counter-terrorism activities were carried out by the Paratroopers' reconnaissance unit in the Menashe Brigade area. These operations included interrogating suspects, arresting wanted individuals, and seizing materials intended for the production of explosives. Additionally, forces from the Ephraim Brigade operated in villages within their sector, interrogating over 80 suspects.
