Duvdevan Unit Captures Senior Islamic Jihad Terrorist in West Bank

Israeli special forces from the Duvdevan unit apprehended a senior Islamic Jihad operative overnight in the village of Burqin, located in the northern West Bank. The operative was formerly associated with the Jenin terror cell, according to security sources cited by Hillel Bitton Rosen, the military correspondent for Channel 14 News.

Security officials reported that the arrested terrorist was recently involved in extensive efforts to finance terror activities targeting both Israeli civilians and security forces. The operation to capture the operative was successful, with Israeli forces returning safely.
