Duvdevan Unit Arrests Two Terrorists Planning Imminent Attack During Yom Kippur

During the Yom Kippur holiday, Israeli special forces from the Duvdevan unit apprehended two terrorists in the West Bank village of Qabatiya who were planning an immediate attack. The operation was part of broader counter-terrorism efforts across Judea and Samaria.

In addition to the arrests, security forces discovered weapons and materials intended for the manufacture of explosives. In the village of Biddu, approximately 100 locations were searched, and 90 suspects were interrogated. During this search, a hunting rifle was found.

Further operations by Duvdevan in the village of Beit Ur al-Tahta uncovered a lathe and two Carlo-model submachine guns, along with other weaponry. In the Menashe Brigade sector, the Paratroopers reconnaissance unit also conducted operations, questioning suspects, arresting wanted individuals, and locating explosive-making materials.

Forces from the Ephraim Brigade were also active, searching villages within their sector and questioning over 80 suspects. One operation in Biddu involved mapping the home of a terrorist responsible for the murder of Natanel Shukron.
