Israeli Man Dies From West Bank Shooting; Manhunt Underway
An Israeli man in his 30s, who was critically injured in a shooting attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region of the West Bank, has died from his wounds. He passed away at the hospital where he was being treated.
Following the attack, Israeli security forces, including police and the IDF, launched an extensive search operation in the area to apprehend the perpetrator. The search involves police helicopters and drones. Forensic investigators are collecting evidence at the scene.
In response to the shooting, authorities temporarily closed roads in the vicinity, including the road between Ofarim and Halamish, and the road between Halamish and Bir Zeit. Senior police officials, including Commander of the Judea and Samaria District Superintendent Moshe Finchi and Commander of the Samaria Brigade Colonel Avi Cohen, were present at the scene conducting a situation assessment.
