Palestinian Terrorist Kills Israeli Near Neve Tzuf After Attack

A Palestinian terrorist attack near the Israeli settlement of Neve Tzuf (also known as Halamish) in the Binyamin region has resulted in the death of one Israeli man. The victim had been critically wounded by gunfire from an armed assailant who subsequently fled the scene. Emergency medical services attempted resuscitation, but the man's condition remained dire.

According to initial reports, the attacker, described as a bearded man wearing black and armed with a long-barreled weapon, opened fire on individuals near a local spring. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have launched an extensive manhunt for the suspect, deploying aerial assets, reserve units, and special forces from the Duvdevan unit. Dozens of soldiers are involved in the search, with the IDF concerned the armed terrorist could launch another attack.

Following the incident, Highway 465 was closed in both directions between Bir Zeit and the Abuad bypass road. The circumstances of the attack and the identity of the deceased are still being clarified.
