Turkey Busts International Fraud Ring Allegedly Linked to Mossad
Turkish authorities have dismantled an international fraud network, arresting 201 suspects, including 45 foreigners from 45 different countries. The operation, carried out by Turkish intelligence and police, reportedly uncovered ties between the criminal group and Israel's foreign intelligence agency, Mossad. Nine of the arrested individuals are Israeli citizens. According to the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak, which is considered a mouthpiece for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's administration, over 121 million Turkish lira (approximately $2.48 million) passed through the bank accounts of six of the Israeli detainees. The publication also listed the names of the arrested Israelis, noting that many appeared to be fictitious, such as Seni Kaen and Hamsa Güleyli.
