Palestinian Gunman Wounds Israeli Man Near West Bank Settlement
A Palestinian gunman opened fire from a moving vehicle at Israelis bathing in a spring near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the West Bank on the eve of Yom Kippur, critically wounding one man. The attack occurred at the Ein Ra'aya spring, located within the Benjamin Regional Council.
Israeli security forces, including the IDF, immediately responded to the scene and launched a manhunt for the assailant, who fled the area. Roadblocks were established in the vicinity as the search continued. The victim, described as being in his 30s, was initially reported as being in critical condition and unconscious.
