Iran has conveyed a proposal to the United States outlining conditions for a cessation of hostilities, according to Al Jazeera. The offer was transmitted through a Qatari intermediary, stated Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. Rezaei specified that Tehran's demands include a halt to fighting on all fronts, the unblocking of frozen Iranian assets, and the lifting of a maritime blockade.
Rezaei also indicated that hostile actions by the United States and Israel are prompting Iran to consider withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. However, he emphasized that Tehran currently remains committed to the fatwa issued by the late Supreme Leader and has not altered its nuclear doctrine.
