Iran Delivers War's End Terms to US Via Mediators

Iran has conveyed its conditions for resuming negotiations and ending the current conflict to the United States through intermediaries. According to Mohsen Rezai, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, speaking in an interview with Al Jazeera cited by Reuters, these demands include a cessation of hostilities on all fronts, the release of frozen Iranian funds, and the lifting of a naval blockade.

Rezai stated that consultations with mediators from Qatar and Pakistan are ongoing and that the terms have already been transmitted to Washington. "We are awaiting Trump's response to them," he said. He further asserted that Tehran distrusts Washington and has altered its strategy accordingly, alleging that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu initiated the war.

Alongside these diplomatic efforts, Rezai issued direct threats towards the United States and Israel. He warned that their actions could prompt Iran to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. While clarifying that no such decision has been made and Iran remains committed to its religious decree against nuclear weapons, he added, "We do not know what will happen in the future."

On the military front, Rezai declared Iran's readiness for a decisive war, claiming knowledge of the U.S. military's vulnerabilities. He revealed that Tehran recently conducted a test of an anti-ship missile near a U.S. aircraft carrier.

Regarding regional affairs, Rezai indicated Iran's desire to end the war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, estimating that the Yemenis also seek a settlement with Riyadh.
