Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Highway Collision Near Ben Gurion Airport
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, sustained critical injuries on Highway 1 near the Ben Gurion Airport interchange on Tuesday evening after being struck by a car. Paramedics from Magen David Adom provided medical treatment at the scene and evacuated him to Sheba Medical Center, Tel HaShomer, in an unconscious state with a head injury.
MDA paramedics Yishai Mor, Peniel Biskila, and Tal Sinai described finding the motorcyclist lying beside the road, unconscious and suffering from severe bodily injuries. They administered life-saving medical care and transported him via a mobile intensive care unit to the hospital, where his condition was reported as serious.
The driver of the car involved in the collision also received medical attention at the scene but did not require hospitalization.
