Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision Near Ben Gurion Airport
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, was seriously injured Saturday evening in a collision with a car on Highway 1 near the Ben Gurion Airport interchange. Emergency medical services received the report at 9:21 PM and responded to the scene.
Paramedics provided initial medical treatment to the motorcyclist, who was found lying beside the road in a confused state with severe head injuries. He was transported by a Magen David Adom intensive care ambulance to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the car involved in the accident received medical attention at the scene but did not require hospitalization. Magen David Adom paramedics described finding the motorcyclist with severe bodily injuries after being struck by the vehicle, emphasizing their life-saving efforts before his transport to the hospital.
