Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision Near Arad
A 25-year-old motorcyclist sustained critical head injuries in a road accident on Highway 31 near Arad on Tuesday morning. The collision occurred near the Nevo Zohar junction when the motorcycle was struck by a vehicle. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) were dispatched to the scene at 7:36 AM after receiving a report of the crash.
Paramedics found the motorcyclist unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. They provided initial medical treatment at the scene before airlifting him via MDA helicopter to Soroka Hospital. The injured man was reported to be in serious condition upon arrival at the hospital.
MDA paramedics Wissam Azbarga and Narim Zeid described the incident as a severe road accident, noting the motorcyclist was found unconscious with a critical head wound. The helicopter landed near the crash site to facilitate the rapid transport of the patient.
