Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Highway 1 Collision Near Ben Gurion Airport
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, sustained critical injuries in a road accident on Highway 1 near the Ben Gurion Airport interchange on Tuesday evening. Emergency medical services received the initial report at 9:21 PM.
Paramedics arriving at the scene found the man semi-conscious and suffering from severe injuries, including a head injury, after being struck by a car. They provided life-saving treatment on-site before transporting him via a mobile intensive care unit to the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.
The driver of the car involved in the collision received medical attention at the scene but did not require hospitalization. Magen David Adom paramedics described finding the motorcyclist lying beside the road, semi-conscious with serious bodily trauma following the impact with the vehicle.
