Seven-Year-Old Boy Dies in Traffic Accident Near Rahat
A seven-year-old boy died on Friday following a traffic accident near the city of Rahat in southern Israel. The child, who was unconscious, was brought by a private vehicle to meet with Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical personnel on Route 264, near the entrance junction to the city.
MDA paramedics and EMTs found the boy with severe, multi-system injuries and no signs of life. They pronounced him dead at the scene. "We met with a private vehicle that brought us the child who was unconscious near the entrance junction to Rahat. They told us he was injured in a traffic accident," said MDA paramedic Malik Abu Arara. "We performed medical examinations, he suffered multi-system injuries and was without signs of life, and we had no choice but to pronounce him dead."
