Israel Eliminates Hamas Naval Commander and October 7th Attack Participant
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of two Hamas commanders in recent days. On Wednesday, Muhammad Jamal Ahmad Eid, a commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba force who participated in the October 7th attacks, was killed in the Al-Bureij area. The previous day, Tuesday, Salah Ziyad Ibrahim Maqdad, identified as the commander of the naval forces of Hamas's military wing, was eliminated in Gaza City.
According to the IDF, both commanders were recently involved in planning attacks and rebuilding the organization's capabilities. The military stated that measures were taken to minimize civilian harm during the strikes, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
