Man Dies in Serious Road Accident on Highway 20
A man, approximately 60 years old, died on Tuesday following a severe road accident involving a bus and a private car on Highway 20 (Ayalon) southbound, near the KKL interchange. The crash occurred in the shuttle lane. The driver, who was evacuated to the hospital in critical condition, succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Volunteers from ZAKA Tel Aviv, who were dispatched to the scene, provided dignified treatment for the deceased and collected evidence. ZAKA expressed sorrow over the difficult statistics, noting that it has been a particularly deadly day on the roads, with four fatalities since morning and seven since the beginning of the week.
