19-Year-Old Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Israel's Highway 20 Near Seven Stars Interchange

A tragic multi-vehicle collision occurred early Monday morning on Highway 20 near the Seven Stars Interchange in Israel, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old male. Emergency services responded to the scene where multiple vehicles were involved in the serious crash. Despite extensive medical efforts by Magen David Adom paramedics, the young man was pronounced dead at the site due to severe injuries.

Three additional individuals were injured in the accident. A man around 30 years old sustained multiple severe injuries and was transported in critical condition, intubated and sedated, to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. Two other men, aged 28 and 26, suffered limb injuries and were taken to the hospital in moderate condition.

Paramedics and emergency medical technicians described the scene as very difficult, with four casualties including the unconscious man with severe trauma. Rescue teams from ZAKA volunteers worked through the night to collect evidence and maintain respect for the deceased. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

This incident adds to the ongoing road safety challenges in Israel, highlighting the dangers on busy highways and the critical role of emergency responders in managing such disasters.
