Elderly Man Critically Injured in Highway Collision
A 70-year-old man is in critical condition after a severe road accident involving a bus and a car on Highway 20, near the KKL interchange. Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 1:54 PM after receiving a report of the collision.
Paramedics performed resuscitation efforts on the critically injured driver, who was trapped in his heavily damaged vehicle. He was evacuated to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv while receiving life-saving treatment.
Four other individuals sustained injuries in the crash. A 69-year-old man suffered moderate injuries, while three others had minor wounds. All injured parties were transported to Ichilov Hospital for further medical attention.
Eyewitness accounts and emergency personnel described the car as having suffered severe structural damage, with the driver found unconscious and without vital signs. The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
