Elderly Man Critically Injured After Bus Collision in Pardes Hanna
An 80-year-old pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a bus in Pardes Hanna on Wednesday. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided life-saving treatment at the scene, including stopping bleeding, bandaging, and stabilizing the victim.
The man was then transported to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in stable, conscious condition, suffering from limb injuries. MDA reported that the patient was conscious upon their arrival and remained so during transport.
Aarriel Baumal, an MDA emergency medical technician, described the scene: "When we arrived, we saw the pedestrian, an approximately 80-year-old man, conscious and suffering from a severe limb injury after being hit by a bus. We provided him with life-saving medical care, including stopping bleeding, bandaging, and stabilization, and evacuated him to the hospital in serious but stable condition."
