Man Critically Injured After Being Hit by Bus in Jerusalem
A 25-year-old man was seriously injured on Thursday morning after being struck by a bus in the Malha neighborhood of Jerusalem. Emergency responders from Magen David Adom (MDA) and the "Tzeva Hatzala" organization were dispatched to Ha'Ayal Street following reports of a severe road accident involving a bus and a pedestrian.
Upon arriving at the scene, volunteers found the pedestrian, a man in his mid-twenties, with a severe head injury and in a state of clouded consciousness. They provided him with initial medical treatment, including stabilization and bandaging, alongside MDA paramedics.
The injured man was then transported by an MDA intensive care ambulance to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem. His condition has been described as serious.
