Israel National Football Team Squad Announced for Nations League Campaign

Ran Ben Shimon, the coach of the Israel national football team, has announced the squad for the upcoming four matches in the UEFA Nations League campaign. The team will face Austria, Kosovo, and Ireland twice.

Notable inclusions in the squad are 18-year-old Maccabi Haifa talent Noam Steifman, who joins the defense, and Eli Dasa, who is currently not playing for a club. Eylay Fingold has been called up for the first time since refusing a call-up to the U-21 team in May 2025. Anan Khalaili, playing for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, is also in the squad.

In midfield, Oscar Gloukh of Ajax is included, alongside regular fixtures like Moanes Dabour and Dor Peretz. Omri Gandelman also made the list despite limited playing time in Serie A. Neta Lavi will be absent due to injury.

The attacking lineup features Manor Solomon from West Ham, as well as Tai Baribo, Dor Turgeman, Sayed Abu Farchi, and Idan Toklomati, all playing in MLS. Jordan Shua has also been called up, despite not starting in three of his club's first four league games. Stav Turiiel and Dia Saba were not included in the squad.

The full squad includes goalkeepers Daniel Peretz, Omri Glazer, and Asaf Tzur. The defense comprises Eli Dasa, Guy Mizerachi, Roy Revivo, Anan Khalaili, Idan Nachmias, Eylay Fingold, Raz Shlomo, Nikita Stoyanov, and Noam Steifman. The midfield features Yarin Levy, Eliel Peretz, Oscar Gloukh, Gabi Kanyukovsky, Dor Peretz, Omri Gandelman, Eitan Azulai, and Moanes Dabour. The forwards are Manor Solomon, Dor Turgeman, Idan Toklomati, Tai Baribo, Sayed Abu Farchi, Jordan Shua, and Liel Abada.
