Cyclist Dies in Herzliya After Being Hit by Stolen Car
A cyclist, approximately 50 years old, has died after being critically injured by a car that overturned in Herzliya. Police suspect the driver of the overturned vehicle was a 24-year-old undocumented Palestinian resident from the Nablus district.
The suspect allegedly stole the car near Yunitzman Street in Tel Aviv. He was apprehended by police following the incident. Investigators found a bag inside the stolen vehicle containing tools commonly used for car theft, including an ignition computer, a hammer, and breaking implements.
The incident occurred on Ariel Sharon Road in Herzliya. The cyclist was initially reported to be in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation into the theft and the fatal collision is ongoing.
