Cyclist Critically Injured in Horrific Herzliya Car Crash
A cyclist, approximately 50 years old, is in critical condition after being struck by an overturned car in Herzliya on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at 8:22 AM on Ariel Sharon Road. Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical services responded to the scene and provided initial treatment.
Paramedics performed resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and administering medication, before transporting the man to Ichilov Hospital. He was in critical condition, without a pulse or breathing, at the time of transport. MDA reported that they were continuing to fight for his life.
One of the first responders, MDA motorcycle unit medic David Amichai, described the scene as a "horrific traffic accident," noting the cyclist was unconscious and found near the overturned vehicle.
