Skoda Launches Elroq SUV and Refreshed Enyaq in Israel After Delays

Skoda has officially launched its compact electric SUV, the Elroq, in Israel, arriving significantly later than initially anticipated. The Elroq, described as the Enyaq's shorter sibling, was first previewed in camouflage in July 2024 and had its European launch by the end of that year. Champion Motors, the Israeli importer, had previously stated a mid-2025 arrival, but the vehicle has only now reached the market.

Alongside the Elroq, the updated Skoda Enyaq, the brand's first electric SUV, is also returning to the Israeli market after a two-year hiatus. The facelifted Enyaq, available in both SUV and Coupe body styles, features updated styling and technology. The Enyaq's Israeli sales were halted in 2024, with its facelift revealed in January 2025.

The Skoda Elroq is being offered in Israel with a single powertrain option, the "60" variant, featuring rear-wheel drive, 190 horsepower, and a 61 kWh battery (58 kWh net) providing a range of up to 442 km. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. Two trim levels are available: the "Advance" and the "Sportline." The Advance trim includes electric front seats with heating and massage, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a 13-inch infotainment screen, and 20-inch wheels. The Sportline adds sport seats, tri-zone climate control, a head-up display, surround cameras, Matrix-LED lighting, and a premium Canton sound system.

The refreshed Enyaq SUV comes with two powertrain options. The "60" variant, with rear-wheel drive, 190 horsepower, and a 58 kWh battery, offers a range of 450 km and is priced at 206,500 NIS. The more powerful "85" variant boasts 286 horsepower, a 77 kWh battery, and a range of 576 km, costing 230,000 NIS. The Enyaq Coupe is available in the "85" trim, with similar specs but a slightly shorter range, priced at 244,000 NIS for the "Max" trim, which adds leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic roof. A high-performance "RS" version of the Enyaq Coupe is also available for 280,000 NIS, featuring all-wheel drive, 340 horsepower, and a 537 km range.

Both the Elroq and Enyaq models received a safety rating of 6 out of 8 from the Ministry of Transport in Israel. The Elroq achieved a 5-star Euro NCAP rating last year, while the updated Enyaq also maintained its 5-star rating in a recent test.
