ZEEKR X Updated Model Launches in Israel with Lower Price and Enhanced Features

The updated version of the ZEEKR X, a compact premium SUV from Geely's ZEEKR brand, has been introduced to the Israeli market with a new entry-level model priced at 170,000 shekels, 15,000 shekels less than the previous entry-level LR version. Since its launch in Israel in January 2024, 3,024 units have been sold by mid-2026. The refresh, first released in its home market late last year, includes a more powerful rear-wheel-drive motor producing 340 horsepower, an increase of 68 horsepower, while maintaining the 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds.

The updated model features a slightly smaller 61 kWh LFP battery (down from 66 kWh NCM), reducing the driving range from 445 km to 405 km. However, fast charging capabilities have significantly improved, with charging from 10% to 80% now taking just 15 minutes at 230 kW, compared to 28 minutes at 150 kW previously. The existing 66 kWh battery option remains available with a 5.3-second acceleration and 150 kW charging speed. The dual-motor "Crypton" version with 490 horsepower and all-wheel drive is not yet offered in this update.

The new entry-level "Essence" trim includes synthetic leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats with memory, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch multimedia screen, front and rear parking sensors, surround-view cameras, wireless charging, panoramic roof, ambient lighting, a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system, electric trunk, and 19-inch wheels. The higher "Beyond" trim adds a 24.3-inch augmented reality head-up display, a smart B-pillar screen showing charging status and animations, and two-tone paint.

Safety features are comprehensive and consistent across trims, earning a perfect 8 out of 8 rating from the Israeli Ministry of Transportation and 5 stars in European crash tests. Pricing for the "Beyond" trim with the larger battery remains at 187,000 shekels. The updated ZEEKR X aims to strengthen its position in Israel’s growing electric vehicle market with enhanced performance, faster charging, and a more affordable entry point.
